Client Proposal, UI Design, UX Design
Southwest Airlines was seeking a redesign of their then-outdated mobile application in 2011. As part of RFP response presentation, I drafted some sample mockups of a redesign direction for their mobile application. Tools used include Photoshop, Illustrator, and Omnigraffle.
Using Southwest Airline’s brand colors, I designed several sample screens for some of the various features they requested. One of the new features Southwest wanted to add was hotel check-in integration on the user’s itinerary and calendar views within the app. The Southwest Airlines flight information screen was also in need of an overhaul to prioritize current status of the flight and actionable items first in addition to generally making the status screen clearer to the user.
